Nikolai Nikolayevich Nekrasov
Nikolai Nikolajewitsch Nekrasow ( Russian: Никола́й Никола́евич Некра́сов ; born June 30, 1932 in Moscow ; † March 21, 2012 ibid.) Was a Russian conductor and university professor .
Life
Nekrasov was the son of the conductor of the orchestra of the national choir of the All-Union Radio Nikolai Nikolajewitsch Nekrasow (1910-1948) and Natalija Ivanovna Nekrasova (* 1911), who sang well and played the cello . He was versatile and was interested in mineralogy and chemistry at school and read the works of Alexander Evgenjewitsch Fersman . Following his father's advice, he attended the “ October Revolution ” music school from 1947 to 1952 . He then studied from 1954 to 1960 at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow in the conducting class under GF Simin and Semjon Semjonowitsch Sakharov. He left the institute as a conductor and concert balalaika player.
1957 Nekrasov was chief conductor of the orchestra of the State Academic Russian Pjatnizki -Volkschores . In 1960 he became head of the State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of the USSR . From 1973 to 2012 he was chief conductor and artistic director of the Folk Instrument Orchestra of All-Russian Radio and Television . He became an outstanding interpreter of many works by Soviet composers and also made guest appearances abroad.
From 1985 to 1998 Nekrasov taught at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow and became a lecturer and finally a professor. In 2001 he became a professor at the Moscow Conservatory with the Chair of Composition and Instrumentation .
From 1962 to 1991 Nekrasov was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union .
Nekrasov was married to Lyudmila Mikhailovna Nekrasova (* 1935) and had a son Alexei (* 1960). He found his grave in the Trojekurowo cemetery .
