Rupert Vansittart
Rupert Nicholas Vansittart (born February 10, 1958 in Cranleigh , Surrey ) is a British actor who has now established himself as a character actor .
life and career
Rupert Vansittart was born in the English town of Cranleigh and has been in front of the camera since 1985. He first appeared in smaller roles in film and television productions before he took on the role of Mr. Hurst in the 1995 miniseries Pride and Prejudice . During his career there were frequent collaborations with the actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson . He appeared in two episodes of the television series Mr. Bean, which was also successful in Germany, and later played in the agent film Johnny English - Now even more! With.
In 1988 he starred in the film Buster .
In 1995 Vansittart starred as Lord Bottoms in the film Braveheart . This was followed by other film appearances such as in Four Weddings and a Death , Bank Job , The Iron Lady and Austenland .
