Ruslan Aljachno (born October 14, 1984 in Babrujsk ; Belarusian Руслан Аляхно , Russian Руслан Алехно - Ruslan Alechno ) is a Belarusian singer. He became known in Eastern Europe after he was able to triumph in 2004, looking for the Russian equivalent of Germany, the superstar , Narodny Artist . Before that, he had already made a name for himself as a successful singer in his home country by participating in various festivals.

In 2005 he released his debut album called Rano ili posdno , which was released on the FBI Music label. In 2008 he took part in the Belarusian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest . With the song Hasta La Vista he was able to unite the most votes in the semifinals on December 21, 2007 and then qualified for the final. There, only a jury decided on the winner and selected Aljachno. He then represented Belarus in the international competition in Belgrade in Serbia , but only placed third from bottom in the second semi-final, so he did not qualify. He received 27 points, including ten points from Ukraine , which was his highest score.
