Palina Smolawa

Palina Smolawa ( Belarus. Паліна Смолава ; born September 3, 1980 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian singer .

Smolawa appeared with the song Mama at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens . In the semifinals she came in 22nd place with a total of 10 points, so she did not reach the final. On March 9, 2008 Smolawa took part in the Russian preliminary decision (Jewrowidenije 2008) for Belgrade , in which Dima Bilan , who represented Russia in 2006, also took part.
