Ruslan Kureischewitsch Belcharojew

Ruslan Kureischewitsch Belcharojew , Russian Руслан Курейшевич Белхароев , (born March 22, 1987 ) is a Russian wrestler . He was junior world champion in 2007 and third in the 2008 European championship in Greco-Roman. Lightweight style.

Career

Ruslan Belcharojew started wrestling as a teenager in 1999. He concentrated on the Greco-Roman. Style. He is a member of a wrestling club in Moscow . The trainers Ausludin Abajew, Felix Awarkow and Oleg Duschko introduced the talented young wrestler to the European top class. Ruslan Belcharojew is a sports student.

Ruslan Belcharojew achieved his first major international success in 2004, when he became Junior European Champion in the weight class up to 58 kg in Albena, Bulgaria, ahead of Armen Melikjan from Armenia and Rafik Gusseinow from Azerbaijan .

Two years later, in 2006, he wrestled in Guatemala City at the Junior World lightweight championship. He took 3rd place there behind Refik Ayvazoglu from Turkey and Kim Hyun-Woo from South Korea. Finally, Ruslan Belcharojew also started at the Junior World Championship in Beijing / China in 2007 , where he won the world champion lightweight title ahead of Aibek Jenschechanow from Kazakhstan and Kim Hyun-Woo.

He made his first start in an international senior championship in April 2007 in Tampere . He defeated there in the preliminary rounds three opponents, among whom was Şeref Eroğlu from Turkey, a former Olympic champion and multiple world champion . In the semifinals he was defeated by the Ukrainian Armen Wardanjan on points and in the fight for 3rd place he managed a point victory over Mukrah Machutadze from Georgia .
