Russia - In the realm of tigers, bears and volcanoes is a German documentary film about nature and wildlife in Russia by director Jörn Röver from 2010, which was released in theaters in January 2011. The film shows Siberia and Lake Baikal , the Kamchatka Peninsula , the Caucasus and Urals Mountains , the far east of Ussuria and the Russian polar region . Amur tigers , polar bears , brown bears , musk ox , ibex , mountain wisps , giant sea eagles , but also smaller animals such as the toad-headed dragon and the Russian desman (a species of mole) can be seen in particular .
