Russula subgen. Compactae , as compacta referred to constitute a sub-genus of fungi of the genus russulas ( Russula ).
features
The mushrooms of the subgenus are characterized by firm, compact, damp or black-discoloring hats ; the discoloration can be red or direct and can be stronger or weaker depending on the species. The lamellae are never branched, there are shortened lamellae and gaps between them. In profile, they resemble the milklings, which are related to the deafblings, or have rolled up hat rims. The fruit bodies are mostly dirty in color, the colors vary from whitish to ocher to brownish. To taste and food value, they are very different, the range comprises both edible and inedible species and toadstools, including a not by the Täublingsregel life-threatening as toxic recognizable and consumption type, the Nisekurohatsu .
nomenclature
The sub-genus and the Compactae section contained therein were named by the French mycologist Marcel Bon (1925-2014) in his systematics of the deafblings .
species
The following species belong to the Compactae :
- Dense-leaved black-blotch ( Russula densifolia ), an inedible fungus
- Thick-leaved black blotch ( Russula nigricans ), an inferior edible mushroom
- Coal deafblings ( Russula anthracina ), an inedible deafblings
- Nisekurohatsu ( Russula subnigricans ), the only life-threatening toadstool among the deafblings
- Russula densissima , a species of pigeon, which is not known by its German name , is not a generally recognized species, which is why its dietary value cannot be determined
- the hornbill Russula eccentrica (no German name available)
- Russula Acrifolia ( Russula acrifolia ), one of the under Täublingsregel because of his burning sharpness inedible fungus
- Black tarnishing blubber ( Russula albonigra ), an edible mushroom
