Ryūta Koike ( Japanese 小池 龍 太 , Koike Ryūta ; born August 29, 1995 in Hachiōji , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Ryūta Koike learned to play football in the youth teams of Matsugaya FC and Yokogawa Musashino FC as well as in the team of the JFA Acadamy Fukushima . He signed his first contract with Renofa Yamaguchi FC in 2014 . The club from Yamaguchi played in the fourth division, the then Japan Football League . In 2014, the club took fourth place in the table and rose to the third division. A year later, the club became champions of the J3 League and rose to the second division. In 2017 he switched to Kashiwa Reysol . The club from Kashiwa played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of 2018, he had to make his way to the second division with Kashiwa. In mid-2019 he left the club and moved to Europe . In Belgium he signed a contract with Sporting Lokeren . With the club he played in the second Belgian division, Division 1B . In 2020 the association went bankrupt. After 27 second division games for Lokeren, he moved back to his home country in May 2020. Here he signed a contract with the first division club Yokohama F. Marinos in Yokohama .
