The 43rd Ryder Cup is scheduled to take place from September 21 to September 26, 2021 on the Straits Course of the Whistling Straits Golf Club in Haven , Wisconsin , USA . The Ryder Cup was originally supposed to take place in September 2020 but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic .

11. Fairway of the Straits Course

The Whistling Straits golf course, which opened in 1998, is the first venue for the Ryder Cup. Before that, it was the venue for the PGA Championship in 2004, 2010 and 2015. There are four par 3 holes and four par 5 holes on the Straits Course. The par 72 course is measured from the championship tees at 7501 yards and is located about 100 km north of Milwaukee on Lake Michigan .

Teams

The US team captain is Steve Stricker, while the Europeans named Pádraig Harrington.

Mode / game results

A total of 28 games are to be played in matchplay mode. Four matches Four Ball and classic four are scheduled for Friday and Saturday. The captain of the host team will decide whether four-ball or classic foursomes are played first. Traditionally, twelve individual matches follow on the final day.
