from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ryszard Błachut (born September 14, 1948 in Maków Podhalański , † June 16, 2017 in Vienna ) was a Polish football player .

Career

The striker began his career at ROW Rybnik (July 1970 to June 1977) and continued it at GKS Jastrzebie (July 1978 to June 1979).

At the beginning of the spring season 1980 Błachut came to relegation-threatened Austrian Bundesliga club First Vienna FC , where he signed a one-year contract. He played his first game on March 1, 1980 against LASK . Błachut came on in the 61st minute of play instead of Ronald Otto and contributed significantly to the 4-2 victory with two goals within two minutes. Nevertheless, under coach Kurt Leitner he could not prevail against teammates like Hans Krankl or Alfred Roscher . After Vienna's relegation to the 2nd division, he was used there in a few games.

Another entry about Błachut can be found at SV Heldenberg, where he worked as a player-coach from the summer of 1990.
