Sára Luca Bácskai (born June 20, 1999 in Budapest ) is a Hungarian short tracker .

Career

Bácskai made his debut in the World Cup at the beginning of the 2014/15 season in Shanghai and achieved 23rd place over 500 m and 17th place over 1000 m. At the European Championships in 2015 in Dordrecht , she won bronze with the relay over 3000 m. In March 2015, she finished fifth with the relay at the 2015 World Championships in Moscow . In the 2015/16 season she came on the podium for the first time in the World Cup in Dresden with second place in the relay. Her best result at the 2016 World Championships in Seoul was 15th over 500 m. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season she finished third in the relay at the World Cup in Calgary . At the European Championships 2017 in Turin and the World Championships 2017 in Rotterdam , she won the silver medal with the relay. In the 2017/18 season she won the bronze medal in the 1500 m and silver medal with the relay at the 2018 European Championships in Dresden and won 26th place in the all- around and sixth place with the relay at the 2018 World Championships in Montreal . At the season highlight, the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she finished fourth in the relay. In the 2018/19 season she won in Salt Lake City with the mixed relay and took second place in Dresden with the mixed relay. At the European Championships in Dordrecht in 2019 , she finished 12th in the all-around competition and won the bronze medal with the relay.
