Sântandrei or Sîntandrei [ ˈsɨntandrei ] ( Hungarian Biharszentandrás ) is a municipality in Bihor County in northwestern Romania .

Sântandrei is in the west of the Bihor district, near the border with Hungary , 10 kilometers before Oradea on the extension of the Gyoma – Körösnagyharsány railway line . In addition to the main town, the village of Palota (German: Neupalota) also belongs to the municipality. 80% of the population are Romanians, approx. 4% German-born Sathmarer Swabians .
