Toboliu ( Hungarian Vizesgyán ) is a commune in Bihor County in northwest Romania . It is located a few kilometers west of Oradea on the Hungarian border.

The municipality Toboliu consists of the two districts Toboliu and Cheresig (ung. Körösszeg ), the place Toboliu is located about 20 kilometers from the district capital of Oradea ( Oradea ) away.

The Crișul Repede ( Rapid Screech ) flows through the municipality . The Canalul Colector Criș , the main canal of the drainage system of the area between the Crișul source rivers Crișul Repede and Crișul Negru ( Black Screech) , ends in the municipality . Toboliu borders on the following municipalities:
