Körösnagyharsány (formerly Harsány ) is a Hungarian community in the county Sarkad in Békés county . It is located two kilometers west of the border with Romania .

The secondary road No. 42156 runs through Körösnagyharsány, which leads east to a border crossing to Romania. The place was the terminus of the railway line Gyoma – Körösnagyharsány (No. 127) of the MÁV , but the traffic on the line was stopped in December 2009, so that travelers now have to use the station in Okány located 31 kilometers southwest .
