Zsadány is a Hungarian community in the county Sarkad in Békés county . It is five kilometers west of the border with Romania .

A tributary of the Sebes-Körös runs through the municipality, the Tote Schnelle Kreisch. Zsadány borders the following municipalities:

history
The first traces of settlement go back to the Sarmatians or the Geten . The first written mention goes back to the year 1219 in the Váradi Regestrum .
