Sarkad is a Hungarian city ​​in the district of the same name in Békés County .

Geographical location

Sarkad is located in the east of Békés County, on the right bank of the Fekete-Körös River , a good five kilometers from the Romanian border.

Attractions

In the center of the settlement is a reformed church with nine towers. The bust of King Stephen the Holy and the equestrian statue of Prince Árpád were erected on the occasion of the Millennium.
