Sönke Andresen (* 1977 in Hamburg ) is a German author .

Life

Andresen studied scenic writing at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig and teaching German at the Universiteit Utrecht . He worked as a lecturer for German as a foreign language for the Goethe-Institut , private institutions and secondary schools in Norway, the Netherlands and Germany. From 2007 to 2008 he received a scholarship at the script workshop in Munich . Since 2009 Sönke Andresen has been working as a screenwriter for cinema and TV and a playwright for various stages.

Together with the director Axel Ranisch , he realized the film I feel disco and two Lena Odenthal -tatorte for SWR ( Babbeldasch and Waldlust ) . Her Degeto television film Lotzmann Family on the Barricades was awarded the Grimme Prize in 2019 . In 2015, his comedy East Frisian for Beginners with Dieter Hallervorden in the leading role was released in the cinemas, and his theater adaptation of the material was played on various stages.
