Sątopy (German: Sontop) is a village in the powiat Nowotomyski , Greater Poland Voivodeship . It belongs to the Nowy Tomyśl municipality . The place is 6 kilometers east of Nowy Tomyśl and 49 kilometers west of Poznan . The village was first mentioned in 1508. In the 18th century the owner Ludwik Szołdrski settled the Hauländer here . With the construction of the Märkisch-Posener Railway ( railway line Frankfurt (Oder) –Poznań ) Sontop got the railway station, which is about 2 kilometers south. The former Protestant village church now serves the Catholics.
