Səmra Rəhimli

Səmra Rəhimli ( German also: Sämra Rähimli ; English / international: Samra Rahimli ; * 1994 in Baku ) is an Azerbaijani singer . She represented Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm .

Career

At the age of 16 she took part in the Azerbaijani preliminary decision Milli Seçim Turu for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku , but could not qualify for the final. In 2015 she took part in O Ses Türkiye and reached the quarter-finals. In early 2016, she was one of the finalists in the first edition of The Voice of Azerbaijan .

On March 10, 2016 it was announced that Rİhimli had been selected internally by İctimai to represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Miracle , although she only had to prove herself on May 10 in the first semi-final. She made it to the final and finished 17th.
