Çingiz Mustafayev (born March 11, 1991 in Moscow ) is an Azerbaijani singer . He appears as a singer under his first name Chingiz .
Life
Çingiz Mustafayev's musical career began in 2007 when he won in the Azerbaijani version of Pop Idol . As a member of Milk & Kisses, he took part in the New Wave Festival in Jūrmala in 2010 . In 2011 he tried to represent his country in the Eurovision Song Contest . He was defeated by Ell and Niki , who managed to win the first victory for the Caucasian country in the history of song festivals. In 2013 Chingiz represented his country again at New Wave , this time solo. On March 8, 2019, it became official that he would represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with his song Truth . He reached eighth place in the final of the competition.
