The Ictimai Televiziya və Radio Yayımları Şirkəti (ITV) (ger .: Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company ) is the government of Azerbaijan radio - and television stations .
He is an active full member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU · UER). Its legal basis is the Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Act of September 11, 2004. Its Broadcasting Council was established in March 2005, chaired by Jahangir Mammadli. On April 16, 2005, Ismail Omerov was elected artistic director . On August 29, 2005, İTV started broadcasting in the presence of President İlham Əliyev . İTV is a member of the Eurovision Dance Contest , the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and the Eurovision Song Contest , in which Azerbaijan was successful several times and was able to win in 2011.
