United Kingdom Independent Broadcasting

The United Kingdom Independent Broadcasting (UKIB) is an association of independent British television producers and broadcasters. The three largest UKIB members are the TV stations ITV , Channel 4 and S4C .

The UKIB joined the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) in 1959 so that they can submit contributions to its competitions. ITV has always sent the British entries to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest ; the second British EBU member is the BBC .
