Martin Kobras (born June 19, 1986 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper . He has been playing for SCR Altach since the 2009/10 season .

Career

Kobras began his career with the youth teams of FC Lingenau and FC Egg . In 2005, the then 19-year-old moved to FC Hard , which almost rose from the Regionalliga West to the first division in the 2005/06 season . At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he went to Styria for SK Sturm Graz , for which he only came to a few games in the club's amateur team.

On September 15, 2008, he played his first official match for SK Sturm in the ÖFB Cup game away from SpG Neuhofen / SV Ried II , which Graz clearly won 5-0. Nine days later, on September 24, 2008, Kobras made his first appearance in the Austrian Bundesliga in an away match against FC Red Bull Salzburg ; Graz lost this game with 1: 3. The reason for his commitment were the failures of the other two goalkeepers Christian Gratzei and Josef Schicklgruber .

At the end of the 2008/09 season he left the SK Sturm in the direction of Altach .

Personal

At the beginning of September 2014, Kobras married his partner in Lingenau . The best man was the professional soccer player Patrick Scherrer , who played with Kobras in his youth and later at SK Sturm Graz and SCR Altach.
