Ogulcan Bekar (born September 1, 2000 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Bekar began his career at FC Mellau . In 2014 he came to AKA Vorarlberg . In 2017 he moved to the academy of FC Red Bull Salzburg . For the 2018/19 season he moved up to the roster of the FC Liefering farm team .

He made his debut in the 2nd division in August 2018 when he came on as a substitute for Philipp Sturm on the fourth match day of that season against SV Ried in the 83rd minute .

After nine appearances for Liefering, he switched to Bundesliga club SCR Altach in January 2020 .

National team

Bekar already played for various Austrian youth national selections. In September 2017 he was first used for the U-18 team .
