Aljaž Casar (born September 17, 2000 ) is a Slovenian football player .

Career

Casar started his career at NŠ Mura . For the 2013/14 season he moved to NK Pobrežje . For the 2014/15 season he moved to the U-15 of NK Maribor . After a season at Maribor, he joined the NK Veržej for the 2015/16 season . He returned to Mura in January 2016.

For the 2017/18 season he moved to third division club NK Rakičan . For Rakičan, he completed 22 games in the 3rd SNL that season and scored five goals. At the end of the season he rose with the club from the third division. He then switched to third division club NK Odranci for the 2018/19 season . In his half year with Odranci he came to 13 third division appearances in which he scored three goals.

In January 2019 he returned to the youth of Mura. For the 2019/20 season he moved to Austria for Bundesliga club SCR Altach , where he received a contract that ran until June 2021.

He made his Bundesliga debut in August 2019 when he came on as a substitute for Manfred Fischer in the 73rd minute on the second match day of that season against WSG Tirol .
