Emanuel Schreiner (born February 2, 1989 in Steyr ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Schreiner began his career in the youth team of the USV St. Ulrich from Upper Austria in Sankt Ulrich bei Steyr . From there he joined the youth team of the Linz club LASK Linz . After a few years in the youth department of LASK, he joined the first team in 2008. He made his debut in the Bundesliga on July 12, 2008, the 2nd matchday of the 2008/09 season, against SCR Altach from the start of the game. He prepared the goal to make it 1-0 and was replaced in the 58th minute for Thomas Piermayr . Seven more Bundesliga games followed. From January 8, 2009, Schreiner was under contract with SC Austria Lustenau in the second highest Austrian league. After the end of his loan contract with Vorarlberg, he played again in Linz for the 2010/11 season. From the 2011/12 season, Schreiner played at SV Ried . After two years, he moved to the then second division SCR Altach in the summer of 2013. In mid-May 2019, he extended his contract until summer 2021.
