Samuel Yves Oum Gouet (born December 14, 1997 ) is a Cameroonian football player .

Career

society

Oum Gouet started his career at the APEJES Academy . With APEJES he won the Cameroonian Cup in 2016.

In August 2017 he moved to the Austrian Bundesliga club SCR Altach , with whom he received a contract valid until June 2020. However, due to the lack of a game permit, he had to take a break all autumn.

National team

Oum Gouet made his debut for the Cameroonian national team in January 2016 when he started and played through in the friendly against Rwanda .

In the same month he took part in the African Nations Championship with Cameroon . There he came with his team to the quarter-finals, where they were eliminated against the Ivory Coast . Oum Gouet was featured in every Cameroonian game.

With the Cameroonian U-20 selection , he took part in the U-20 African Championship in 2017 , when Cameroon was eliminated in the group stage as third in group B. Oum Gouet was used in every game.

From November 2018 he took part in qualifying games for the African Cup of the category with the Cameroonian U-23 national team and played both games against Chad as captain for the full 90 minutes.
