↑ SEHA League 2018/19 ↓ SEHA League 2020/21

The SEHA League is a supranational handball competition that is entering its ninth season in the 2019/20 season. The organizer is the South Eastern Handball Association. The now twelve teams participating in the ninth season came from China , Croatia , North Macedonia , Russia , Serbia , Slovakia , Ukraine , Hungary and Belarus . Bosnia couldn't register a team for this year, and neither did Steaua this year. Telekom Veszprém is back again. The league was also expanded with two more clubs from Russia and the Ukraine, as well as a visiting club from China.

In the new mode, twelve participants compete against each other twice in the main round in two leagues of six teams each. Once in the home hall and once outside. The best two teams from the two groups automatically qualify for the quarter-finals. The other four teams in each group play against each other in the round of 16. A3-B6, A4-B5, A5-B4 and A6-B3. The first and second in the group are already waiting for the winners of the round of 16 in the quarter-finals. The four winners of the quarter-finals qualify for the Final Four, which in the ninth year in ? were carried out. The point allocation in the league is unusual for handball. The handball association of Bosnia-Herzegovina, which is in charge of the SEHA, has adopted the so-called "English table" system, which is also used in the domestic league, in which there are three points for a win and one for a draw.
