STX (short for the American word for stick : stick ) is a sporting goods manufacturer headquartered in Baltimore . The subsidiary of Wm. T. Burnett & Co. focuses on the manufacture of lacrosse equipment such as lacrosse sticks and protective equipment (gloves, pads and eye protection), but also manufactures hockey and golf equipment.
The company was founded in 1970 by Richard BC. Tucker, Sr. founded as STX Inc. STX is the exclusive supplier to the US men's national lacrosse team.
