Saé Saboua (also: Sayé Saboua ) is a rural community in the Guidan Roumdji department in Niger .
geography
Saé Saboua is located at the transition from the large Sudan to the Sahel zone . The neighboring communities are Chadakori in the north, Maïyara and Sarkin Yamma in the northeast, Tchadoua in the east, Maradi and Djiratawa in the south and Tibiri in the west. The municipality is divided into 88 administrative villages, two traditional villages and 27 hamlets. The main town of the rural community is the administrative village of Saé Saboua.
history
The rural community of Saé Saboua emerged from the canton of Saé Saboua in 2002 as part of a state-wide administrative reform. During the hunger crisis in Niger in 2005, Saé Saboua was one of the most affected places. Here the population had less than one meal a day available.

At the 2001 census, Saé Saboua had 65,935 inhabitants. At the 2012 census, the population was 99,638.
Economy and Infrastructure
In Saé Saboua livestock, trade and handicrafts are practiced. There are too few areas that can be used for agriculture. The remote rural community has no noteworthy road network.
