Sabine Peters (official name since marriage: Sabine Geissler , born January 17, 1961 in Neuwied ) is a German writer .

Life

Sabine Peters completed a social year in Tübingen. She then studied literature , political science and philosophy at the University of Hamburg; she completed this course with a master's degree. Since 1989 she was married to the writer Christian Geissler (1928–2008). After a few years in the Rheiderland , she is now living as a freelance writer in Hamburg again . Sabine Peters is the author of narrative prose and radio plays. Since 1995 she has been reviewing for various broadcasters and newspapers. She is a member of the PEN Center Germany and the Free Academy of the Arts in Hamburg. She currently works as a lecturer in the Faculty of Design, Media and Information at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. (HAW)
