Sabine van Baaren (born April 12, 1960 in Baarn , Netherlands ) is a Dutch musician , singer , composer and healer .

Life

Sabine van Baaren's father Hans was the producer of Herman van Veen , for whom she was obliged to record as a child. She can be heard in De boer uit Zwitserland and De Lindelaan as well as in a duet with the singer Corry Brokken , Is het heus .

After first tours and a record production with her own songs in the a cappella project Vocaleros , she released her first solo CD Whatever Comes in 2006 with guests such as Charlie Mariano (saxophone), Bert Smaak (drums), Stephan Scheuss (choir) and Mathias Krauss ( Keyboards and producer). In 2005 she brought the project "A WA KE" to the stage with the composer Mark Joggerst . The first joint CD Remember Who You Are was released at the end of 2009. In January 2013, the duo released a single, Mother Earth . The CD was recorded in the Neon Media Studio in Cologne .

The duo Sabine van Baaren and Mark Joggerst also deal with healing sounds and meditative and intuitive music . The third CD Visions and Dreams was released in January 2015. Guest musicians are Oliver Wenhold (cello), Naomi Binder (viola and violin), Bert Smaak (drums), Gerrit Winter (background), Emanuel Stanley and Bernd Keul (bass). Van Baaren conducts so-called "healing sessions" with intuitive singing and is the protagonist in the film and book "Die Heiler" by Wolfgang T. Müller.

In addition to realizing her own projects, she worked both on stage and on recordings with Pe Werner , Julia Neigel , Peter Kraus , Gitte Hænning , Phil Carmen , Rainhard Fendrich , Jon Lord and appeared at the Aids gala Cover Me . She sings in the choir for the children's television series Tinga Tinga . Since 2017 she has been an ambassador for the peace project Das Weisse Herz , her task among other things is to include the book in as many languages ​​as possible. She has already recorded the book in 13 languages.
