Sabri Loan Boumelaha (born September 21, 1989 in Mulhouse ) is an Algerian - French football player who has been playing for FC Allschwil since the beginning of 2019 .

Career

society

In his early youth, Boumelaha played in Saint-Louis ( Alsace ) for FC Saint-Louis Neuweg and AS Bourgfelden before joining the BSC Old Boys Basel team . In July 2007 he finally moved to the U-21s of FC Basel . For this team he ran in 28 games in the season, and in the following season in 15 games. In January 2009 he was loaned to city rivals FC Concordia Basel . After his pro debut on March 8th 2009, in the 1: 3 defeat against FC Locarno , followed eight other inserts for Congeli in the Challenge League .

In February 2010 the left-back was left to FC Thun (again on loan) until the end of the season . Sabri Loan Boumelaha was used three times for the first team, with two times he was only substituted in the final minutes. In addition, the Thuners also used it in games of the U-21s. The junior team rose this season from the 2nd league interregionally to the 1st league (third highest division). After Boumelaha's contract with FC Basel had been terminated at the end of the loan period, he moved to the Bulgarian club Minjor Pernik in January 2012 . He left the club in early 2013 and was without a club for six months before joining FC Mulhouse in the summer of 2013 . At the beginning of 2014 he returned to Switzerland, where he was accepted by FC Black Stars Basel . From summer 2014 he was again without a club for a few months before SR Delémont signed him in early 2015 . With the club, he was relegated from the Promotion League at the end of the 2014/15 season .

Boumelaha then joined AS Timau Basel , who played interregional in the 2nd league . He stayed with the club until the end of 2018. He has played for FC Allschwil since the beginning of 2019 .

National team

Boumelaha was born in France , but he decided to play for the Algerian selection . In September 2009 he was nominated for the training camp of the U-23 national team. There was a friendly against CR Belouizdad in the camp, but he was not used. On September 14, 2009 he was nominated a second time.

Sabri Loan Boumelaha has two older brothers who are also footballers: Virgile Boumelaha and Olivier Boumelaha .
