The Promotion League 2014/15 was the third season of the third Swiss division in men's football, which was created in 2012. Until now it had been called the 1st League Promotion. Sixteen teams took part in the Promotion League, including four U-21 teams.
After two years under the name 1st League Promotion , the name was changed to Promotion League . The under her 1. Liga Classic , which was the third highest division before 2012 under the name 1. Liga , and has since been the fourth highest, took on its old name again.
Newcomers Neuchâtel Xamax secured the next promotion with a 13 point lead and returned to professional football after bankruptcy in 2012. U-21 teams would not have been eligible for promotion. The FC Locarno and the SR Delémont had the course in the first league compete.

The sixteen clubs in the Promotion League each competed twice against each opponent, once in the home stadium and once away. In total, each team played 30 games. The top-ranked team that was not a U-21 team rose to the Challenge League at the end of the season, while the last two teams were relegated to the first division.

1st league - promotion games
A maximum of four U-21 teams can play in the Promotion League (previously known as the 1st League Promotion). Accordingly, a maximum of as many U-21 teams take part in the promotion games to the Promotion League as there are free places. In two rounds, the two best teams from each of the three groups of the 1st Classic League and the two best thirds in the group will determine two promoters to the Promotion League. The matches were drawn on May 30, 2015. The games will take place between June 3rd and June 13th.
Intermediate round
The first legs will be played on June 3, 2015, the second legs on June 6.
