Sabrina Frey

Sabrina Frey (* 1978 in Lucerne ) is a Swiss recorder player .

Life

At the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna , at the Musikhochschule Freiburg im Breisgau and at the University of Music and Theater Zurich , where she attended the master class of Kees Boeke , Sabrina Frey completed her educational and artistic training diplomas as well as the concert diploma Award.

As a soloist and chamber musician, Sabrina Frey is a prizewinner at international competitions and has received numerous awards. Concert invitations take Sabrina Frey through Europe , to Japan , India and to international festivals such as the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Festival , the Telemann Musiktage Magdeburg , the Montreux Jazz Festival , the International Music Festival Stavanger in Norway, or the Malmö Festival in Sweden.

In 2004 the recorder made her debut with the renowned Zurich Chamber Orchestra in the Tonhalle Zurich . She has also performed with the International Bach Academy Stuttgart under Helmuth Rilling , the Ensemble Vocal et Instrumental de Lausanne , the Batzdorfer Hofkapelle , the Ensemble ASPECTE, the Artesonado Quartet and the SADASTAN Quartet. As a chamber musician, Sabrina Frey works with musicians such as Maurice Steger , Naoki Kitaya , Fiorenza de Donatis, and the harpsichordists Michael Behringer and Vital Julian Frey .

Sabrina Frey works with contemporary composers such as Moritz Eggert , Gabriele Manca , Agnes Dorwarth, Martin Derungs , Paul Leenhouts, Max E. Keller and Kees Boeke .
