Sachsenheim is a place in the municipality of Elixhausen in the Salzburg-Umgebung district in the state of Salzburg .

The village is located south of Elixhausen on Mattseer Landesstraße (L 101) on Sachsenheimstraße to the east.
history
The name is derived from the Transylvanian Saxons who fled to Austria after the Second World War . The foundation stone for the settlement was laid on May 27, 1956.
