Say no! Antifascist Songs 1978 to today is the 24th studio album by singer and songwriter Konstantin Wecker from 2018. It includes songs from the last 40 years and new songs. Two live versions complement the studio recordings.

The newly recorded collection of songs is framed by Willy , starting with the 2018 version and ending with the original text from 1977. It is now the sixth version of this song. Bella Ciao and Blümlein are attached to the edge of the forest as bonus tracks .

The 2018 version of Sage Nein introduces Wecker with an announcement that is orchestrated. He also explains the bonus song Blümlein stand at the edge of the forest . In Den Slogans no chance he uses Beethoven's ode to joy as a musical quote for the chorus . New admissions are u. a. Life wants to be alive and Sturmbannführer Meier .

That gives me courage was recorded in July 2016 for songs on a summer evening .

Konstantin Wecker has been fighting against fascism for 40 years. The riots in Chemnitz in 2018 showed him that the Nazi ideology was budding in Germany: "I am shocked to discover that my older songs against right-wing violence, xenophobia and inhumanity are more relevant than ever."

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the anti-fascist information, documentation and archive office in Munich (aida).

Shekib Mosadeq translated and sang in Farsi Outrage yourselves and Bella Ciao .

Jo Barnikel did the arrangements for I'm Afraid and Bella Ciao . The album was produced by Florian Moser, with Stefan Gienger in charge of the sound engineering. The recordings took place in September 2018 in the master mix studio Unterföhring.

The cover photo of the CD cover was made by Dominik Beckmann, Uwe Liesmann was responsible for the graphics and design.
