Saint-Cernin is a village and a commune déléguée in the French commune of Les Pechs du Vers with 203 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the Midi-Pyrénées region .

With effect from January 1, 2016, Saint-Cernin was merged with Saint-Martin-de-Vers to form the Commune nouvelle Les Pechs du Vers in the equally new region of Occitania . Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The commune déléguée belonged to the canton of Causse et Vallées (until 2015 canton of Lauzès ) and the arrondissement of Gourdon .

Neighboring towns are Saint-Sauveur-la-Vallée in the northwest, Soulomès in the north, Caniac-du-Causse in the northeast, Sénaillac-Lauzès in the east, Sabadel-Lauzès in the southeast, Lauzès in the south and Saint-Martin-de-Vers in the west.

Around 1490 the settlement was called Saint-Cernin-de-Baneda .
