Saint-Sauveur-la-Vallée is a former French commune with 57 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the Occitanie region . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Gourdon and the canton of Causse et Vallées . The residents call themselves Salvadorans.

With effect from January 1, 2016, Saint-Sauveur-la-Vallée merged with the municipalities of Beaumat , Labastide-Murat , Fontanes-du-Causse and Vaillac to form the Commune nouvelle Cœur de Causse and has been a commune déléguée ever since .
