Cœur de Causse is a French commune with 954 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the canton of Causse et Vallées and the Arrondissement of Gourdon . It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities Beaumat , Fontanes-du-Causse , Labastide-Murat , Saint-Sauveur-la-Vallée and Vaillac , which in the new municipality had the status of a Commune déléguée to have.
