Strenquels ( Occitan : Estrinquèls ) is a southern French municipality with 271 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Gourdon and the canton of Martel (until 2015: canton of Vayrac ). The inhabitants are called Strenquelois .

Strenquels is in the north of the Quercy . Strenquels is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Les Quatre-Routes-du-Lot in the north, Condat in the northeast, Saint-Michel-de-Bannières in the east, Saint-Denis-près-Martel in the southeast, Martel in the south and Cazillac in the west and northwest .
