Cressensac-Sarrazac is a French commune with 1,136 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Gourdon and the canton of Martel .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2019 based on the decree of August 2, 2018 by amalgamating the previously independent municipalities of Cressensac and Sarrazac , which from now on have the status of Communes déléguées . The administrative headquarters are in Cressensac.

Cressensac-Sarrazac is located about 35 km north-northeast of Gourdon in the historic province of Quercy on the northern border with the neighboring Corrèze department .

traffic
A line of the TER Occitanie , a regional train of the national SNCF , serves the route from Brive-la-Gaillarde to Toulouse . A stop called "Gignac – Cressenac" is located in the neighboring municipality of Gignac.
Another railway line, which is served by several lines of the regional railways of the state SNCF, crosses the eastern part of the municipality without a stop. The next stops on this route are in the neighboring municipalities of Turenne and Le Vignon-en-Quercy.
Cressensac-Sarrazac can be reached via Routes départementales 23, 33, 87, 100, 720, 820, the former Route nationale 20 , and 840, the former Route nationale 140 , as well as via the Autoroute A20 , called L'Occitance , the municipality of Crossed north to south. Exit 54 is directly linked to the D 840. The Pech Montat petrol station on the motorway is also on the territory of the municipality.
Part of the site of the former Brive airport is in the municipality.
