Salviac is a place and a municipality ( commune ) in the south of France with 1,211 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lot department in the north of the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Gourdon and the Canton of Gourdon (until 2015: Canton Salviac ).

Salviac is about 25 kilometers north-northwest of Cahors in the historic Quercy countryside . Salviac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Aubin-de-Nabirat in the north, Léobard in the northeast, Dégagnac in the east, Gindou in the south, Cazals in the southwest, Marminiac in the west and southwest, Campagnac-lès-Quercy in the west and Florimont-Gaumier in the Northwest.
