Saint-Sever-Calvados is a former French commune with last 1,244 inhabitants (as of January 1 2014), the Severin , in the department of Calvados in the region of Normandy .
On January 1, 2017, Saint-Sever-Calvados was incorporated into the new municipality of Noues de Sienne as part of a regional reform together with nine neighboring municipalities . Saint-Sever-Calvados represents the administrative seat of Noues-de-Sienne as the “superordinate district”.

Saint-Sever-Calvados is about 60 kilometers west-southwest of Caen . The river Sienne has its source here .
Saint-Sever-Calvados was surrounded by the neighboring communities of Sept-Frères in the north, Le Mesnil-Caussois in the northeast, Mesnil-Clinchamps in the east and northeast, Saint-Manvieu-Bocage in the east and southeast, and Champ-du-Boult in the south and southeast , Le Gast in the south, Coulouvray-Boisbenâtre in the south-west, Fontenermont in the west and Courson in the west and north-west.
