Samuel "Sam" Boehm (born March 4, 1988 in Adelaide ) is an Australian volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career beach volleyball

Boehm has played with various partners at junior world championships since 2003. He was three times ninth at the U19 World Championships and in 2007 in Modena, Italy with Cedric Legrand ninth at the U21 World Cup. As of 2008, Boehm played with Christopher McHugh . McHugh / Boehm were eliminated early on on the FIVB World Tour , while they came ninth at the U21 World Cup in Brighton . The following year they achieved their best result with 17th place at the Mysłowice Open.

Isaac Kapa was his partner from 2010 to 2012 . Except for a seventh place at the The Hague Open , Kapa / Boehm did not reach any of the top ranks on the World Tour. At the 2011 World Cup in Rome, the Australians were eliminated after the preliminary round, despite a victory over the Brazilians Thiago / Harley . From 2013 Boehm played alongside Cole Durant , mainly at national and continental tournaments. At the FIVB Open Tournament 2014 in Puerto Vallarta , Mexico , Boehm / Durant managed to place fifth. Then Boehm ended his international career in beach volleyball and moved to the hall.

Career indoor volleyball

In the 2014/15 season, Boehm played at Arbo Fusion Rotterdam . Then the diagonal attacker moved within the Dutch league to Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn . In 2016/17 he was active in the Czech league at SK Volejbal Ústí nad Labem . In 2017/18 the Australian played for the German Bundesliga club Bergische Volleys in Solingen .
