Documentary Jimmyjoe - Wo chunnsch du här, where geisch du hi?

On November 12, 2014, the Swiss television SRF broadcast the film Jimmyjoe - Wo chunsch du här, wo geisch du hi from the DOK series in cooperation with the Swiss film production company Contrastfilm . A year earlier, Jimmyjoe had traveled with a film team from the film production company to see his mother and her brother in Lisbon. For the Swiss director Urs Frey , the intention to shoot the film was to bring the audience closer to a man whose short stature would not keep him from his dreams. It shows a small person who lives out his passion as a show animator in Swiss night clubs. Another goal was to find his birth mother in order to learn more about his roots. The music for the film was written by the Swiss presenter, entertainer and musician Knackeboul , who is a cousin of Jimmyjoe. The film's title song, Jimmyjoe , can also be found on his 2013 album Picasso .
