Samajona was a German girl group from Berlin . The name of the band was formed from the first two letters of the first names of the four founding members Sabrina, Marleen, Joe and Nadja.
history
Samajona was founded in 2000 with the cast of Sabrina Ziegler (born March 31, 1982 in Berlin), Marleen Heitzmann (born May 4, 1982 in Berlin), Johanna "Joe" Klum (born July 12, 1980 in Berlin) and Nadja Loddoch (* December 29, 1982 in Berlin).
In 2001 the band achieved their first single, Why ?! Which has sold over 100,000 copies, and 2002 with their album Crème Frech the upper chart courts. After the other singles are released, Will it happen today? and Klum and Loddoch left the band with such difficulty .
Kirsten "Kirsty" Merz (born March 26, 1982 in Plauen ) and Mariangela "Marie" Scelsi (born April 3, 1984 in Ulm ) joined the band as new members . With the new line-up, the group recorded their second album Spurwechsel in 2003 . After the three singles Sag es , The Car U Wanna Drive and Miss You , Merz and Scelsi also left the band.
Samajona started another attempt in 2004 with the new members Claudia "Claudi" Uterhardt (born March 29, 1983 in Rostock ) and Julia "Jule" Titze (born August 4, 1986 in Berlin). Finally, Heitzmann was replaced by J.-Ann "Jenny" Wilson (born February 10, 1983 in Eisenhüttenstadt ), but there were no more new publications.
