Samuel "Sammy" Morris (* 23. March 1977 in Oxford , England ) is a former American American football poker players in the position of running backs . He played for the Buffalo Bills , Miami Dolphins , New England Patriots , and Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

In 2000, Morris was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the 5th round of the NFL Draft . Until 2007, he was an average reserve running back, who was suspended for four games in 2006 for doping . On March 3, 2007, he signed a three-year contract with the New England Patriots . There he played together with Laurence Maroney and achieved far better statistics than the years before. Due to a chest injury on November 2, 2007, he could not finish the season.

Since 2013, Morris has been an assistant coach at Attleboro High School in Attleboro , Massachusetts .
