Samuel Ipoua Hamben (born March 1, 1973 in Douala ) is a former Cameroonian football player .

Career

society

He played mainly for European clubs such as B. OGC Nice (France), AC Turin (Italy), SK Rapid Wien (Austria), FC Toulouse ( France ), 1. FSV Mainz 05 , TSV 1860 Munich and LR Ahlen (Germany). In Cameroon began and ended his career with the clubs Union Douala and KSA Yaoundé .

National team

In 1994 Ipoua was used in three games of the French U-21 national team, but remained without a goal. Later he completed a total of 15 international A matches for the Cameroon national football team , scoring seven goals. He was part of Cameroon's 23-strong squad for the 1998 World Cup , and played two preliminary round matches against Italy and Chile .

His brother Guy Ipoua is also a former soccer player who played mainly in the lower English and Spanish soccer leagues.
