The OGC Nice (fully: Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice Côte d'Azur ) is a French football club from Nice in the Alpes-Maritimes department . It was founded in 1904 as the Gymnaste Club de Nice and from 1908 also had a football department. In May 2013, the club had a new logo.
The first soccer team played at the Stade du Ray from 1965 to 2013 , after which they moved to the newly built Allianz Riviera multifunctional stadium . President is Jean-Pierre Rivère. For the 2018/19 season , Patrick Vieira will take over the league as head coach.
August 2019 the chemical company Ineos , whose CEO is Jim Ratcliffe , took over the club.
